Technopack Polymers shares to trade ex-bonus tomorrow for 1:1 bonus issue

Technopack Polymers shares will start trading on an ex-bonus basis tomorrow for their 1:1 bonus share issue as January 29 was fixed as the record date for determining shareholder eligibility for the bonus shares.

“This is further to our letters dated December 04, 2024 and January 09, 2025 intimating the approval by the members for issue of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1. In this regard, we wish to inform that the Company has fixed Monday, January 27, 2025 as the Record Date for the purpose of determining the equity shareholders of the Company eligible for bonus equity shares of the Company,” the company said in an exchange filing.

The record date is the date set by the company to decide the shareholders who are eligible to receive the offer. To be eligible for a buyback offer, bonus issue or a stock split, the shares should be in the demat account on the record date.

Shareholders who buy the stock at least one day before the ex-date are eligible for the offers as settlement happens the next day. Those buying the stock on the ex-date are not eligible for dividends/splits/bonus issues etc.
