S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Sees 3.9% Annual Gain in September

-

The latest S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price NSA Index reported a 3.9% annual increase for September, 2024.  Their 10-City Composite increased 5.2% and their 20-City Composite increased 4.6%, year-over-year.

“Home price growth stalled in the third quarter, after a steady start to 2024…The slight downtick could be attributed to technical factors as the seasonally adjusted figures boasted a 16th consecutive all-time high ”  Said Brian D. Luke, Head of Commodities, Real & Digital Assets at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI).
