- Diwali (Deepavali)/Kali Puja/Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s Birthday/Naraka Chaturdashi on October 31 in most states, except Tripura, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Manipur, and Meghalaya.
